Councillor Declan Bree has been elected Mayor of the Borough District of Sligo Municipal District at its AGM on Monday 26th June.

Councillor Bree's nomination was proposed by Councillor O'Boyle, seconded by Councillor O'Grady and unanimously agreed.
Councillor Sinead Maguire was elected Deputy Mayor.
