SLIGO URBAN AREA:

Emergency Road Closure N4

Colas Joint Venture on behalf of TII are carrying out urgent bridge joint remedial works at 2 No. Bridges on the N4, namely Belladrihid and Ballysadare Road Bridges. In order to carry out these works, notice is hereby given that Sligo County Council has decided as a matter of urgency to close to public traffic the N4 as outlined below:

• Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th September - N4 Northbound Closed between Collooney Roundabout and Junction S1 – See Diversion Plan: CJV-G2-DR-SK-2606
• Thursday 11th and Friday 12th September – N4 Southbound Closed between Junction S1 and Collooney Roundabout – See Diversion Plan: CJV-G2-DR-SK-2607
• Monday 15th September – N4 Southbound Closed between Junction S1 and Collooney Roundabout – See Diversion Plan: CJV-G2-DR-SK-2607

The alternative signed routes for traffic will be as follows:

Southbound N4 Closure

• Over height (4.4m) Vehicles – Junction S1, N59, Old Dublin Rd, R287, R284, R290, Collooney Roundabout – N4 Southbound
• All Other Traffic –Junction S1, N59, R290, Collooney Roundabout – N4 Southbound

Northbound N4 Closure

• Over height (4.4m) Vehicles – Collooney Roundabout, R290, R284, R287, L3601, Junction S2 – N4 Northbound
• All Other Traffic – Collooney Roundabout, R290, N59, Junction S1 – N4 Northbound

Clarion Road Drainage Improvement Works

Drainage and footpath improvement works will be ongoing through w/c 8^th September along Clarion Road. Traffic lights and/or Stop-Go traffic management operations will be implemented throughout the day. Delays can be anticipated, and motorists should plan alternative routes. SCC apologises for any inconvenience caused.

SLIGO – DRUMCLIFFE AREA:

L-74282 Kiltycahill

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-74282 at Kiltycahill. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

R-291 Rosses Point

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the R-291 Cycleway at Rosses Point. Traffic Management will be in place during the works.

L-3305 Coolbeg

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-3305 from Drumcliff to Carney. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-3203 Ardtrasna

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-3203 at Ardtrasna. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-7223 Ballyconnell

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-7223 Ballyconnell. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-3205 & L-7121 Gortaderry

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-3205 & L-7121 at Gortaderry. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-3405 Tully

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-3405 Tully. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-34082 Clogher Graveyard

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-34082 at Clogher Graveyard. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-74281 Clogher Beg

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-74281 at Clogher Beg. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-3404 Lugnagall

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-3404 at Lugnagall. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

L-74031 Keelty

Road Surfacing works will be carried out on the L-74031 at Keelty. Temporary road closure and diversion will be in place. Local access will be provided.

Roadmarking works will be undertaken on the N15 at Lisnalurg & Rathcormack next week. Traffic Management will be in place and minor delays expected.

Drainage & pothole repair works will be carried out at various locations across Sligo Drumcliff. Traffic Control will be in operation as required.

ENNISCRONE AREA:

Safe Routes to School – Enniscrone: Cliff Road & Main Street

Footpath upgrade works will be continuing throughout next week to complete the project along both Cliff Road and Main Street.

Traffic management will be in place at both locations with minimal disruption to traffic.

Site investigation works will be carried out on the N59/L6605-0 (105) at Corbally South,

Traffic lights will be in operation, Minor delays expected.

Drainage works will be carried out in Doonmadden on the L2302-0 (39) and L6304-0 (42). Traffic management will be in place, minor delays expected.

Pothole repair works will continue in the Enniscrone area. Traffic control will be in operation, but no delays are expected.

BALLYMOTE AREA:

Pothole repair works will continue in the Ballymote area. Traffic control will be in operation, but no delays are expected.

SLIGO- STRANDHILL AREA:

Footpath Enhancement works Sligo Strandhill Area:

Footpath Enhancements works are ongoing in Ballintogher,  Rowan Tree estate Collooney, L7609 Budgeen Row road Collooney and Cloondara estate Ballisadore. Temporary traffic management will be in operation during the works. Sligo County Council apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Road Restoration Carrowgobbadagh L3608 (Old N4):

Road Restoration/Kerbing works will be carried out on the L3608 Carrowgobbadagh, traffic management will be in place, A 50km.hr speed limit will be in operation within the site.

A temporary road closure will be in place, Local Access will be provided.

Drainage repair works will continue in the Sligo/Strandhill area. Traffic control will be in operation, but no delays are expected.
