Time to put your ice skates on! As the weather gets colder and Christmas approaches, Sligo County Council and Sligo Business Improvement District are delighted to announce the opening of Sligo on Ice at the BID Barn in Stephen Street car park.

Sligo's Own Ice Rink Opens This Week
Installed and operated by local businessman Eddie Mulrooney, the ice rink is a great addition to the family fun festive offerings in Sligo this year and is already much talked about on social media.
It follows two recent successful events in the BID Barn, the custom built covered space in Stephen Street Car Park that was organised by Sligo County Council and Sligo BID to facilitate local events so that they can take place in spite of local weather conditions.
The rink will operate from November 17th to January 14th 2018 and opening times and booking information can be found at www.sligoonice.ie or calling Eddie at 085 250 8992. Some peak session times have already been filled so booking in advance is advised, group discounts available.
