The Cathaoirleach said ‘ 27 clubs and associations in County Sligo have been allocated funding, and this is excellent news for the many dedicated volunteers working on various committees. There is a very high standard in Sligo’s sporting and recreational infrastructure and this funding will see a further enhancement of our facilities. I also welcome the fact that Sligo County Council will received funding for two projects at Cleveragh Regional Park, an outstanding amenity that has proved hugely popular with people of all ages.’
