No access to your gym or training grounds? No problem! National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGB's) and their athletes have been busy creating resources to help you stay active and stay healthy from home

Every day Sport Ireland social media will be updated with information and advice on how to stay active and healthy during Covid-19. There will be links to high quality content and work from National Governing Bodies of Sport and Local Sports Partnerships as well as news and information on all things sport.

The Sport Ireland Campus is currently closed but Fitness Manager Graham Byrne will be posting "at home workouts" on their social media channels to help you stay active from home

Hockey Ireland - Skills

Bored at home? Why not grab your hockey stick and practice some skills with the Hockey Ireland #HockeySkillsChallenge. A new skill will be shared each day and you are encourged to share your video with them.

Basketball Ireland - Skills

Basketball Ireland have started a 28 day challenge for players home from school or college and missing basketball. The daily skills challenge is a great time to sharpen up your skills from home - all you need is a ball and a net.

Athletics Ireland encourage you to use this time to work on your mobility and have created a downloadable guide which will focus on

There may be a pause in training at the moment but The Camogie Association have plenty of challenges to keep you developing your skills. With free downloadable skills cards you will have plenty to keep you occupied.

Pools may be shut at the moment but Swim Ireland have put together a guide to staying fit and healthy during Covid-19. The guide includes information on nutrition, cardio and strength training

Special Olympics Ireland - #FitnessFromHome

Special Olympics Ireland have a series of inclusive exercises for their athletes that focus on endurance, strength, flexibility and balance. Everyone in the family is encouraged to take part in the daily challenges and if you missed any you can catch up on them all on their Facebook and Instagram pages. 

The Special Olympics Ireland Together at Home programme is a weekly schedule of activities and workouts designed to support athletes at home during Covid-19.

Triathlon Ireland

While you may not be able to swim, bike, run at the moment, Triathlon Ireland have a selection of work out videos, strength sessions and nutrition advice to keep you active and healthy.

Age & Opportunity - Movement Minutes for Older People

Age and Opportunity have created a series of live 15 minute seated physical activity session for older adults. The sessions are live on Age and Opportunity Facebook page on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. The videos are also available on their website

IRFU

The IRFU has launched an Eat Well, Feel Well series with recipes from their Performance Nutritionists. Find the IRFU recipes here

Badminton Ireland 

Badminton Ireland have regular skills videos on their social media channels focused on maintaining hand eye coordination and agility from home.
