Reducing Junk Mail

Waste Prevention and Recycling - Tricks and Tips - 762 kbs  PDF

Junk mail is unsolicited mail you receive.  It can be either directly mailed with your name and address from companies eg. credit card offers, or it could be material that is delivered to any post box – eg. Supermarket flyers.

You could reduce the amount of material you recycle by asking the post office not to give you junk mail.  You can also contact the Irish Direct Marketing Association to have your name removed from mailing lists of direct marketing companies.
