Applications to the Ireland West Airport Knock Discovery Centre County Showcase

In developing the Ireland West Airport Knock Visitor Discovery Centre, County Sligo is invited to take an opportunity to showcase its tourism offering for one week over the busy summer period - August 12th – 18th

(PLEASE NOTE: Attendance for the entire week is not obligatory)

Applications are now being accepted to take a stall which will give stall holders the chance to promote their products/services

(PLEASE NOTE: Items cannot be sold at this Showcase).

All applications should be completed online using the link below and all applicants must also satisfy the criteria as outlined below:


The products/services being promoted must be of high quality/standard. This quality/standard will be assessed by Sligo County Council & Sligo Tourism. The product must be specific to County Sligo and present the tourism/commercial offering of the County in the best way possible.

Stall Holders must:

  • Be located in Sligo
  • Be in operation at least one year
  • Be active on Social Media
  • Comply with Food Safety and HACCP in accordance with FSAI guidelines (where applicable)
  • Supply their product to at least 3 local food/craft/drink suppliers
  • Be willing to work collaboratively with other individuals/businesses to showcase the best of their County
  • Detail your current stock and annual production

 Stall Guidelines

 5 Stalls will be made available over a one week period. 

  • Each stall must be presented within the confines of a 3m x 2m area. Extending beyond this space is strictly prohibited.

  • Stall holders will be required to provide photographic evidence of the proposed layout of their stall.

  • Items cannot be sold on the day.

  • All Stall holders must comply with procedures in Ireland West Airport Knock and follow instructions from staff when so advised.

  • Stall holders are permitted to man/operate their stall between 7.30am – 9pm.

  • A maximum of 2 persons are permitted to man the stall at any one time.

  • Electricity outlets will not be available in all spaces; your requirements in this regard must be outlined in your application.

  • All stall holders must show proof of insurance, with Ireland West Airport Knock clearly indemnified on their policy.
