  1. To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting of the Municipal District of Ballymote-Tubbercurry held 24th July, 2023,
  2. Matters Arising.
  3. Update on the Croí Cónaithe Towns Fund (Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant), attached.

MOTIONS

  1. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey:
    “To ask Sligo County Council if there is a programme in place to power hose road signage that needs to be cleaned.
    Some signs are old and have a build-up of dirt and moss etc and look very poor.”
  2. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor G. Mullaney:
    “To call on Uisce Eireann to investigate why sewage is coming up at the back of house numbers 9 to 12 Castle View Ballinafad on a recurring basis during periods of torrential rain.”
  3. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey:
    “ Can I ask Sligo County Council for an update on taking in charge of Woodstream estate Coolaney.”
    B Seek an update on the taking in charge of Fort Haven Estate in Coolaney.”
  4. To consider the following joint motion as submitted by Councillor G. Mullaney:
    “To call on Sligo County Council to take in charge the Dromroe housing estate in Castlebaldwin.”
  5. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor G. Mullaney:
    “To request an update from Uisce Eireann as to when the wastewater treatment plant in Castlebaldwin might be upgraded to accommodate the need of the village.”
  6. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Connolly:
    To ask Sligo County Council to put up more signage at the junction where the Bunnacranagh road and Curry village road merge two meet the N17.” 
  7. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor P. Taylor:
    “To ask Sligo Co Council to carry out Improvement works & surface works to the R295 from the junction at Eastern Harps pitch to the Roscommon Co boundary.” 
  8. To Consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor P. Taylor:
    “In welcoming the department funding from local property tax etc , I ask the Council Executive to ring fence a major portion of that funding for this Municipal District for Works in our Villages & Communities. I ask this in the interest of fairness due to the Criteria for Active travel funding.”
  9. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Clarke:
    “To call on Sligo to hold the next Ballymote Tubbercurry west Sligo area meeting in knock airport and ask the airport for a report on the airport's performance and future plans.”
  10. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M. Clarke:
    “To call on Sligo County Council to provide funding in the budget for dangerous bends and sight lines on rural roads.”
  11. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey:
    “I call on Sligo County Council to allocate funding to resurface the section of ground from the new cemetery in Ballymote due to the current surface being slippery when wet and dangerous for elderly walkers.”
