TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS 
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993 
Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No 119 of 1994) 

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to extend  closure to public traffic, the L -9002-0 Holborn Street from its junction with the R286 Connaughton Road and its junction with R286 Stephen Street in Sligo Urban Area. 

This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate the Sligo Public Realm Project Upgrades. The period of closure is from midnight Friday, 31st July, 2026 up to and including midnight 31st August, 2026. 

The alternative route for traffic will be via R286 Connaughton Road and onto R286 Lake Isle Road.
