TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993
PART 8 ROADS REGULATIONS 1994 (SI NO. 119 OF 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic the following roads in Tubbercurry as outlined below:

1. Saturday 9^th August, 2025 between 17.30 and 23.30

Teeling street from Wolfe Tone Square at junction R294 to Mountain Road Junction.

Wolfe Tone Square  (West sides) and Mountain Road (L4502-0) from junction with the R294 to a point 200 metres southeast of said junction.

2. Wednesday, 13^th August, 2025 between 07.00 and 22.00

Humbert Street in Tubbercurry from it’s junction with the N17 to it’s junction with Wolfe Tone Square, The Lane (L8705-29) from its junction with the N17 to Wolfe Tone Square, Wolfe Tone Square (North and West sides) and Mountain Road (L4502-0) from junction with the R294 to a point 200 metres southeast of said junction.

The temporary road closures are necessary to facilitate the holding of the Old Fair Day Festival in Tubbercurry.

Alternative routes for traffic will be along the N17 Relief Road from junction of Humbert Street to its junction with the R294.
