Temporary Closing of Roads

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993

Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (No 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L-2303-26 at Doonfin Upper townland for the purpose of Bridge Repair Works. The road will be closed to all vehicular traffic from its junction with L-2304-0 at Farranyharpy and its junction with L-23033-0 Grange Beg.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the North Via the L2304-0 and Farranyharpy, West via the N59 at Doonfin Lower and South via L2303-26 at Doonfin Upper/Grange Beg and vice versa.

The period of closure will be from Monday 6th October 2025 to Friday 14th November 2025 inclusive.
