Temporary Closing of Roads
Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993
Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (No 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the  L-36025 at Carns to facilitate the safe cutting and removal of dangerous overhanging roadside trees.

The proposed section of the L-36025 being closed is from its junction with the L-36023 to its junction with the L-36022 in the townland of Carns.

The period of proposed closure is from 8am on Thursday, 2^nd October, 2025 up to and including 5pm on Friday, 3^rd October, 2025.

The alternative route for traffic is via: L-36026 - Cairns Hill, L-3602 - Green Rd, L-36022.

Any persons aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with the Mr. J. Molloy Director of Services, Climate and Infrastructure, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo not later than 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 17^th September, 2025.
