Proposed Temporary Road Closure - N4 to L-1502 at Drumfin

It is proposed that the road will be closed from 20.00 to 6.00 on Monday, 3rd November, 2025 to Friday, 14th November, 2025 inclusive.

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the N4 from its junction with the L-1502 at Drumfin to its junction with the N17 Collooney roundabout to facilitate the installation of sensors and loops for the new Weigh In Motion Station. 

It is proposed that the road will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 20.00 to 6.00 on Monday, 3rd November, 2025 to Friday, 14th November, 2025 inclusive. 

The alternative route for traffic will be via L-3600/L-3700 (old N4) Colloney to Castlebaldwin.

Any persons aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with the Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo not later than 5pm on Tuesday, 14th October, 2025.
