Temporary Closing of Roads
Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993
Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (No 119 of 1994)

“Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L-2303-26 at Doonfin Upper townland for the purpose of Bridge Repair Works. It is proposed that the road will be closed to all vehicular traffic from its junction with L-2304-0 at Farranyharpy and its junction with L-23033-0 Grange Beg.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the North Via the L2304-0 and Farranyharpy, West via the N59 at Doonfin Lower and South via L2303-26 at Doonfin Upper/Grange Beg and vice versa.

Any persons aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with the Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo not later than 5pm on Tuesday, 16^th September 2025.
