Temporary rolling closures of Roads in Sligo for Cairde Arts Festival 2025

Notice is hereby given of the Intention of Sligo County Council to close the following roads from 22:00 to 23:00 Saturday 12^th July 2025, Quay St Car Park, Quay St, Lower Knox St, Hyde Bridge, Stephen St, Bridge St, Rockwood Parade.

This proposed temporary rolling closure is necessary to facilitate a Street Procession Spectacle Event as part of the Cairde Sligo Arts Festival 2025 which is a family event being held on Saturday July 12^th, 2025,

Alternative routes will be Temporary holding of Traffic at Top of O’Connell St, Wine St Car Park Entrance, Stephen St/Holbourn St Junction, Stephen St/Lake Isle Road Junction on to Stephen Street & Bridge St.

Please note Quay St Car Park Closure from 18:00 Fri July 11th to 23:00 Sat July 12th (Approach Roads Custom House Quay, Queens Shore Road diversions Sat July 12th 21:30 to 22:15)

Objections may be made in writing to Mr Jim Molloy, Director of Services, Sligo County Council, County Hall, Sligo before 12:00 on Wednesday 18^th June 2025.
