TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993
Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close Hazelwood Avenue (L-7430-0) to all vehicular traffic, from its junction with R286, which includes the two adjoining cul-de-sac roads L-74301-0 and L-74302-0, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on Sunday 13^th July, 2025.

This proposed temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate the holding of the 2025 Sligo Triathlon Event.

Local access for Hazelwood Avenue residents will be maintained where possible on the day of the event.

Objections/submissions may be made in writing to Mr. Jim Molloy, Director of Services, Sligo County Council, County Hall, Riverside, Sligo before 1pm on Wednesday, 18^th June, 2025.
