Provision of Information Leaflets in Various Languages

In advance of the 2014 European Parliament and Local Elections, the Register of Electors information leaflet was translated into a number of different foreign languages:
- Arabic
- Chinese (Mandarin)
- Czech
- English
- French
- German
- Hungarian
- Italian
- Irish
- Latvian
- Lithuanian
- Polish
- Portuguese
- Romanian
- Russian
- Slovakian
- Spanish
The leaflets were distributed to all registration authorities and other relevant organisations, including foreign embassies.
The following two leaflets (European Parliament: How Ireland’s Representatives are Elected” and “How Members of Local Authorities are Elected) were updated and translated.
