CLAR Funding 2023
The CLÁR funding scheme is a targeted investment programme for rural areas that aims to provide funding for small infrastructural projects in areas that experience disadvantage.
Funding is available for the following measures:
- Measure 1- Developing Community Facilities & Amenities
- Measure 2- Mobility, Cancer Care & community First Responders Transport
- Measure 3- ‘Our Islands’
Only Measure 1 relates to Sligo County Council, Measures 2 & 3 are by direct application to the Department of Rural and Community Development.
Applications to Sligo County Council can either be posted to Sligo County Council, High Market House, Old Market Street (FAO Kathleen Kane) or emailed to kkane@sligococo.ie.
Measure 1 - Developing Community Facilities & Amenities
Closing Date for Receipt of applications under Measure 1 is 4pm on Friday 19th May, 2023.
Measure 2- Mobility, Cancer Care & Community First Responders Transport and Measure 3- ‘Our Islands’
Application forms for Measure 2 and Measure 3 must be submitted directly to the Department of Rural and Community Development.
Closing date for receipt of applications to the Department is:
- Measure 2: May 12th 2023
- Measure 3: June 6th 2023
