Sligo and Environs Development Plan 2010-2016SEDP 2010-2016 and related documentsOn the 2nd of November 2009, Sligo Borough Council and Sligo County Council adopted the Sligo and Environs Development Plan 2010–2016. The Plan covers the Borough of Sligo together with its urban and rural environs located outside the Borough, under the jurisdiction of Sligo County Council. The SEDP 2010–2016 became operational on 30 November 2009 and will remain in force for six years. Statutory variation may be made by the Members of Sligo Borough Council and Sligo County Council during the 2010-2016 period. It is advisable to consult the Councils’ websites or check with the respective Planning Sections for up-to-date information regarding variations. Hard copies of the SEDP and associated documents are available for inspection and purchase from the Planning Offices of Sligo Borough Council and Sligo County Council. The Variation became operational on the 10th of May 2012. Variation No. 1 of the SEDP consists of the following:

Variation no. 2 – Core StrategyOn 5 September and 3 October 2011 respectively, Sligo County Council and Sligo Borough Council made a variation of the Sligo and Environs Development Plan 2010-2016 in accordance with Section 13 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended).
