The Council wishes to advise consumers in the South Sligo area that due to serious damage by a private contractor to the 6" pumping main from Killaville pumping station to Killaville reservoir, there is going to be major interruptions to the public water supply from this evening Tuesday 13th to late tomorrow evening, the followings areas will be effected:
All dwellings supplied by the former Killaville Group Water Scheme, e.g. Ballyfahy, Kiltycreen, Knockrawer,Ardrahen, Kilshalvy, Ballynaglogh, Cloonmeehan, Flowerhill, Spurtown.
Sligo County Council Water services staff are working to have normal water supplies restored as soon as possible.
