Meeting No 1

Meeting No 1 will be held in An Chroí – South Sligo Enterprise Centre, Ballina Road, Tubbercurry between 7.30pm and 9.30pm on Wed the 31st of October 2018. 

The purpose of the meeting is to invite submissions from the public in relation to the development of a greenway in South County Sligo.  Submissions in relation to the first round of public consultation shall be made in writing either by e-mail to greenway@sligococo.ie or by post or hand to Dorothy Clarke, Director of Services, Sligo County Council, City Hall, Quay Street Sligo.

Submissions in relation to the first round of public consultation shall be received on or before 12.00pm on Mon 5th Nov 2018.

Meeting No 2 

Meeting no 2 will be held in An Chroí – South Sligo Enterprise Centre, Ballina Road, Tubbercurry between  7.30pm and 9.30pm on Wed the 14th of November 2018. 

The purpose of the meeting is to present a Constraints Report in relation to the development of various route options to construct a greenway in South County Sligo and to invite public submissions in relation to same. Submissions in relation to the second round of public consultation shall be made in writing either by e-mail to greenway@sligococo.ie or by post or hand to Dorothy Clarke, Director of Services, Sligo County Council, City Hall, Quay Street Sligo.

Submissions in relation to the second round of public consultation shall be received on or before 12.00pm on Mon 19th Nov 2018.

Following the conclusion of the above process a Preferred Route for the development of a Greenway will be determined after which point affected landowners will be consulted on an individual basis.
