In accordance with the above, Sligo Borough Council hereby give notice of its proposal to seek the approval of An Bord Pleanála under section 177AE(3) for the construction of a Storm Water Outfall and Petrol Interceptor at John F Kennedy Parade, Sligo City, in order to upgrade the existing Sewerage Scheme.
A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared in respect of the proposed development. The Board may give approval to the application for development with or without conditions or may refuse the application for development.
Plans and particulars including the Natura Impact Statement completed for the storm water outfall are available for inspection in the offices of Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo City, and Sligo County Council, Old Gaol, St. Anne’s place, Sligo City during normal office hours from Thursday 2nd February 2012 until Friday 16th March 2012.
The Natura Impact Statement will be available for purchase at a cost of €20 from the offices of Sligo County Council, Old Gaol, St Anne’s Place.
Submissions and observations may be made in writing to An Bord Pleanála, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1, before 5.30p.m. on Friday 16th March 2012 relating to;
A person may question the validity of any such decision by the Board by way of an application for judicial review, under Order 84 of the Rules of the Superior Courts (S.I. No. 15 of 1986), in accordance with section 50 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000, as amended.
