Interviews for Site Assessor Panel
Sligo County Council intends to hold interviews for site assessors to be included on the existing Site Assessor Panel. Those wishing to be included on the panel will be required to attend for interview in February 2012 to demonstrate competency in the EPA Code of Practice and in the design of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems.
Members of the Site Assessor panel are required to carry out the site assessment, design, supervise the installation and certify the installation of the On-site Wastewater Treatment Systems including the polishing filter.
Applicants must have:-
- Relevant Professional Indemnity Insurance (€1 million minimum).
- A knowledge of the “Environmental Protection Agency Code of Practice on Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems serving Single Houses (p.e. ≤ 10)”.
- Competence to carry out site assessments and treatment system design in accordance with the EPA Code of Practice.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for inclusion on the Site Assessor panel; any person who wishes to be included on the panel of approved Site Assessors should make an application to Sligo County Council on the attached application form.

The closing date for receipt of completed application forms is 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday 1st February 2012.
