Sligo County Council has prepared a Draft Development Plan for County Sligo (CDP) for the period 2011 to 2017. The Draft Plan consists of two volumes:

Copies of the Draft Development Plan and associated documents will be placed on public display from Wednesday 30th June 2010 to Wednesday 8th September 2010 (both dates inclusive) and may be inspected at the following locations:

Copies of the Draft Plan and associated documents (or individual maps therefrom) may be purchased during the public display period in hard copy or CD format from the County Council Planning Offices.
Your views on the Draft Plan and associated documents including the Environmental Report are invited. All written submissions or observations received by 4.00 pm on Wednesday 8th September 2010 will be taken into consideration before the making of the Plan.
A report with recommendations on all valid submissions or observations received will be prepared and presented to the Members of Sligo County Council for their consideration. Closing date for submissions and observations 4.00 pm, Wednesday, 8th September 2010.
In order to heighten awareness of the draft CDP and broaden the consultation process, Sligo County Council is holding public consultation workshops throughout the county. You are invited to attend one of these public meetings, which will take place at the seven locations listed below:

Copies of the Draft Development Plan and associated documents will be placed on public display in all Council offices. A member of the Development Planning Unit will be available at the Planning Office in The County Hall for questions and consultation on allocated days or by appointment.
