Sligo County Council’s County Tidy Towns Competition 2010

Sligo County Council is running its hugely popular County Tidy Towns Competition again in 2010.

If you are involved in a County Based Community or Voluntary Group, Tidy Town/Villages Group, Residents Association, Local Development Group, School, or Business we want to hear from you!

The local Competition is divided into 4 prize categories:

Best Kept County Housing Estate
- 1-30 Houses
- 31-60 Houses
- 61 + Houses
Best Kept National School in the County
Best County Shop Front/Business
Best Kept Village/Town incorporating Green/Riverside Area/Open Space and Waste Management

PLEASE NOTE: CLOSING DATE FOR THIS COMPETITION IS: 4.00P.M. WEDNESDAY 19TH MAY 2010
(Entries received after this date will not be eligible).

Judging for this Local County Competition will take place from
MONDAY 31ST MAY – FRIDAY 11TH JUNE 2010

County Tidy Towns Grant Scheme

Sligo County Council invites applications from County based Tidy Towns Committees entering the National Tidy Towns competition organised by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. A grant will be provided to assist in the financial costs associated in participating in the national competition.
