Re-opening of O’Connell Street to Single Lane Vehicular Traffic

Sligo Borough Council wishes to advise motorists that O‘Connell Street will re-open to single lane vehicular Traffic from 8.00am on Wednesday 9th December, 2009.

Please note the following:

• Traffic travelling west on Castle Street and Grattan Street will be allowed to enter onto O’Connell Street and travel in a northerly direction. 
• Traffic exiting from O’Connell Street will be allowed a right turn only onto Lower Knox Street.  There will be no left turn onto Wine Street.
• Traffic travelling north on Harmony Hill must turn left onto John Street.
