Tenders for Materials and Petroleum Products

Tenders are invited for the year ending 31st December, 2010 for the following:

• Derv.
• Gas Oil.
• Kerosene.
• Lubricating Oils.
• Protective Clothing and Footwear.
• Timber Posts and Rail Fencing.

It will be a condition for the award of a contract with an annual value of €6,500 or more that a firm or individual must be able to produce a Tax Clearance Certificate granted by the Revenue Commissioners.

Sligo County Council/Sligo Borough Council is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, 1997.  If tenderers consider that any of the information supplied by them is either commercially sensitive or confidential in nature, this should be highlighted and the reason for its sensitivity specified.  In such cases, the relevant material will, in response to FOI requests, be examined in the light of the exemptions provided for in the FOI Act.

Tenders should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Tender for Petroleum Products”, “Tender for Protective Clothing and Protective Footwear” or “Tender for Timber Posts and Rail Fencing” and addressed to Director of Services, Corporate Services Section, Sligo County Council, County Hall, Riverside, Sligo.

The closing date for receipt of all tenders is 4.30 pm on Friday, 11th December, 2009.
