Temporary Closing of Roads - Sligo Stages Rally

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic the roads listed hereunder during the periods indicated on Sunday, 29th November, 2009 to facilitate the holding of a Motor Rally by Connacht Motor Club (Sligo) Ltd.

Period of Proposed Closure 10.55 to 16.15

From Junction of N15 and L-7216-0 in Mullaghnaneane to L-3205-25 in Barnaderg to L-7210-0 in Grogagh to L-7211-0 in Grogagh to L-3204-18 in Kiltykere to L-3205-0 in Gortnaleck to L-7121-0 in Gortaderry to L-7122-0 in Rathhugh to L-7123-0 in Rathfrask to L-3205-0 in Derrylehan to L-7124-0 in Moneylahan to L-7125-0 in Curraghmore to L-3105-0 in Keeloges to L-7130-0 in Keeloges to L-7130-25 in Gleniff to L-7130-50 in Moodoge to Junction of L-7130-64 and L-3103-0 in Clough.

Alternative route will be via the National Road N15 from its junction with L-7216-0 in Mullaghnaneane to L-7118-0 in Cliffoney village to L-7131-0 in Curraghmore to L-3103-0 in Hollyfield to junction of L-3103-0 and L-7130-64 in Clough.

Period of Proposed Closure 10.17 to 15.30.

L-7224-0 from its junction with L-7225-0 in Ballintemple to L-7223-0 in Ballyconnell to L-7222-0 in Carrigeens to L-7221-0 in Carrigeens to L-7220-0 in Cloonagh to L-72201-0 in Cloonagh to L-72205-0 in Cloonagh to L-3207-0 in Doonfore to L-3206-0 in Doonfore to L-7218-0 in Ardtrasna to L-3203-35 in Attiduff to L-7214-0 in Attiduff to L-7213-13 in Doonshaskin to L-72172-0 in Lislary to L-7214-0 in Lislary to L-7215-0 in Lislary to L-7213-0 in Ballyscannell to Junction of L-7213-0 and L-7206-0 in Mountedward.

Alternative route will be via L-7225-0 from its junction with L-7224-0 in Ballintemple to L-3208-27 in Kilmacannon to L-3206-0 in Doonfore to L-3303-0 in Doonfore to L-33021-0 in Lissadill to L-3302-0 in Lissadill to L-7302-18 in Doonowney to L-3203-0 in Ballyscannell to L-7206-0 in Mountedward to junction of L-7206-0 and L-7213-0 in Mountedward.

In the interests of safety, roads adjoining the above mentioned routes will be closed for a distance of 200 metres.

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with the Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Governor’s House, St. Anne’s Place, Sligo, not later than 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 10th November, 2009.
