Urban and Village Renewal Scheme 2006 Ballinacarow

Public Notice pursuant to Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations 2001

• Proposed environmental improvement scheme at various locations in the village of Ballinacarrow, Co Sligo

Notice is hereby given that Sligo County Council proposes to carry out the following environmental improvement works at various locations in Ballinacarrow, Co Sligo

• Enhancement works to the Community Hall area, to include:
  • Provision of a new play area, fencing and associated landscape works
  • New pavement and tree planting
  • Uplifter lighting proposals
• Enhancement works to the Roman Catholic Church to include:
  • Improvements for access at the main entrance, and tree planting
  • Uplifter lighting scheme to the Church
• Landscape improvements to the Temple House lay-by at Ballinacarrow South to include:
  • New kerbing
  • Formation of feature planter bed

Drawings and documentation relating to the proposed works are available for inspection during office hours at the Community & Enterprise Office from Wednesday 4th October, 2006 to Wednesday 1st November 2006.

Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and development of the area in which the development would be situate, may be made in writing to the Director of Community & Enterprise, Sligo County Council, Cleveragh Road, Sligo, to be received no later than 5pm on Wednesday 15th November 2006.
