Notice of Making of Vesting Order

NOTICE OF MAKING OF VESTING ORDER PURSUANT TO  SECTION 17 OF THE DERELICT SITES ACT 1990  (AS AMENDED BY THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000)

Notice is hereby given that Sligo Borough Council on the 8th Day of June 2006 made a Vesting Order pursuant to Section 17 of the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 in respect of the land described hereunder :

The effect of the Order will be to Vest the land described in the Schedule hereto in Sligo Borough Council as from the 11th July, 2006 in fee simple, free from encumbrances and all estates, rights, titles and interests of whatsoever kind.

Any person who, immediately before the making of the said Vesting Order, had any estate or interest in or right in respect of the lands acquired may apply to Sligo Borough Council not later than twelve months after the making of the said Vesting Order for compensation in respect of the estate, interest or right.

A copy of the Vesting Order and the map attached thereto may be inspected at the offices of Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo between the hours of 9.00a.m and 5.00p.m Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
