Lough Talt, North Sligo and Calry Water Supply Schemes

LOUGH TALT, NORTH SLIGO AND CALRY WATER SUPPLY SCHEMES

Sligo County Council wishes to notify consumers served from Lough Talt, North Sligo and Calry water supply schemes that due to high water leakage and very high consumption, all consumers are asked to conserve water and fix any leaking pipes around their property.

Over the next number of weeks nightly water shut-offs will be required in a number of areas to build up levels in the reservoirs for fire fighting purposes. The most likely areas affected will be :

Lough Talt:

Quarryfield, Kilaville, Carrigans, Ballinacarrow, Rinbane, Tourlestrane, Banada, Rhue to Bellaghy, Coolaney.

North Sligo:

Maugherow, Raughley, Mullaghmore, Bunduff, Creevykeel.

Calry:

All consumers on the Calry public supply

The actual periods of interruption will be kept to a minimum. Sligo County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
