WATER SERVICES INVESTMENT PROGRAMME ASSESSMENT OF NEEDS

Sligo County Council is currently carrying out an Assessment of Needs for our Water Services for the period 2007—2014. This assessment will identify for County Sligo our water services needs over the period 2007 to 2009 and examine, from a strategic perspective, the main requirements for water services investment over the period 2010—2014.

We would like your views on our proposals. A draft Assessment of Needs is available for inspection and comment. The documents are available for inspection and comments from Wednesday, 2nd August, 2006 to Friday, 1st September, 2006 during normal working hours (Monday to Friday) at the following locations:

• Sligo County Council, County Hall, Riverside, Sligo
• Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Sligo
• Water Services Section, St Anne’s Place, Sligo
• Tubbercurry Area Office, Teach Laighne, Tubbercurry
• Ballymote Area Office, Court House, Ballymote
• Enniscrone Area Office, Pier Road, Enniscrone
• Sligo Area Office, Market Yard, Sligo.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposals may be made in writing to S. Concannon, Director of Services, Sligo County Council, Governors House, St. Anne’s Place, Sligo before 4:00pm Friday, 8th September 2006.
