N4 Collooney to Castlebaldwin Realignment
Preliminary Site Investigation Contract

Extent of the works:

• Approximately 53 No exploratory boreholes using cable percussion boring with rotary core follow on, to varying depths up to 30m.
• Approximately 44 No trial holes to depths to up 4.5 metres.
• Approximately 38 No probe holes.
• Approximately 3190 metres of seismic refraction surveying in karstified zones using both 3m and 5m geophone spacing.
• Associated sampling and testing.
