Public Notice pursuant to the Local Government

(Planning and Development) Regulations 2001,
Part VIII, (Article 81).

In accordance with Part VIII of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 2001, notice is hereby given that Sligo Borough Council proposes to carry out the following development;
Traffic calming scheme on the N16 Manorhamilton Road, from the Borough boundary, to its junction with Ash Lane, Molloway Hill and Hazelwood Road.

Proposed works include:

• Road re-alignment and road construction.
• New footpaths and cycleways.
• Traffic calming measures.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at the Planning Section, Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Sligo between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm during the period Wednesday 15th February 2006 to Wednesday 15th March 2006, inclusive.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and development of the area, may be made in writing to the Town Clerk, Sligo Borough Council, City Hall, Sligo, not later than 4.30pm on Wednesday 29th March 2006.
