Landscaping works at Deepwater Berth carried out under this scheme

The Deepwater Berth Road is situated between various Industrial/Commercial buildings. This road provides the only access to Sligo's commercial port and serves not only the port activities but also a wide range of commercial users.

Reinstatement works included:

• Provision of a crash barrier at the seaward edge.
• Provision of a 2m wide grass verge.
• Widening of the road by 0.5m using Dense Bitumen Macadam.
• Provision of kerbs to road edge.
• Provision of 3.0m wide Cobblelock paving as a footpath between kerb and grass verge.
• Provision of street lighting.
• Ground preparation, hardcore filling, clause 804 etc to underside of pavings.
• Provision of tree pits and trees.
