Review of Enniscrone Local Area Plan

Pre-Draft Consultation: 8 August – 28 September 2012

Sligo County Council intends to review the Enniscrone Local Area Plan 2004-2013.
In order to facilitate pre-draft input from the public, a  Pre-Draft Consultation Paper - 7,959 kbs has been prepared.

This Consultation Paper may be inspected from 8 August 2012 to 28 September 2012 at the following locations:

• Planning Office, Sligo County Council, County Hall, Riverside
• Enniscrone Area Office and Library, Pier Road, Enniscrone

Copies of the Consultation Paper may be purchased during the same period at the Planning Office in County Hall, Riverside.
Your views on the review of Enniscrone Local Area Plan are invited. All submissions and observations should be made in writing (hard copy or e-mail), headed “Enniscrone Local Area Plan” and sent to:

Enniscrone - Local Area Plan

Enniscrone Local Area Plan was adopted on the 1st of March 2004 and remained operational for six years, until 2010.
A progress report on the implementation of the LAP objectives was prepared in late 2009 and submitted to the members of Sligo County Council in January 2010. This report outlined that the objectives of the LAP had not been substantially achieved. Therefore, the report recommended extending the life of the Plan while maintaining the objectives unchanged.
On 6 September 2010, Sligo County Council decided to extend the life of Enniscrone Local Area Plan by three years, to 5 September 2013.
The LAP and all associated documents can be downloaded from the links below. Hard copies can be obtained at a cost from the Planning Section of Sligo County Council, from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
