Civic Amenity Sites

These are sites where you can recycle a much wider variety of materials than at a bring bank.  There are over 20 of these across Connaught that you can use, including 2 in county Sligo.  Details of further sites available from www.connaughtwaste.ie

Gate Fees for Household Hazardous Waste:
Paint Tins - €0.50c for 5 litre can or smaller
       €1.00 for over 5 litre can
Medicines - €1.00 for 5 items
Oil Filters -  €0.50c per item
Pesticides/Herbicides -  €1.00 per litre of space
For all of the above, any irregular loads will be charged at discretion of operator
