Sligo County Council, through the Community and Enterprise Section, has worked with Tidy Towns Committees, for a number of years providing advice and financial support. Committees throughout the County have taken part in the County Competition which, this year, had four categories with a number of Committees entering the National Tidy Towns Competition.
Sligo County Council wishes to acknowledge the level of cross-community effort of this event; the evidence of this voluntary work was very visible during the assessment visits at all the entry locations.
