Sligo Local Authorities Make World-Wide Connections

Over the last few months, Sligo Local Authorities have fostered links with communities all over the world. Guests from as far afield as Pakistan, China and Norway have been hosted by the Sligo Local Authorities, and later this month visitors from Kempten, Germany and Crozon, France will be in Sligo for ‘twinning’ celebrations with our sister cities. Sligo has been twinned with Crozon for 25 years, Kempten for 15 years. Last month Mayor Rosaleen O’Grady led a delegation to Tallahassee to mark the tenth anniversary of our association with the Florida state capital.
