About Podcasting

Podcasting is the newest way to share audio broadcasts via the internet. Contrary to its name, you do not need an Apple iPod (or any portable mp3 player for that matter). What you do need is a computer, an internet connection, and a software program that will play all your new podcasts such as  iTunes or Quicktime or Windows Media Player -  You only need an iPod or other Mobile MP3 Player if you want to listen to a podcast on the go. Sligo Local Authorties does not endorse any 3rd party software,  Anyone downloading 3rd party software does so at their own risk and should seek independent advice.
