The Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Councillor Veronica Cawley commended the library for the extension of the mobile service. “The extension of the Mobile Library Service is very important in that it makes the library more accessible to those who may not have the means to visit the community libraries in the towns. This is also a very popular aspect of the library service, and I know the addition of Collooney and Ballisodare will be greatly welcomed by the general public.”
