Cathaoirleach Commends Front-Line Staff

The Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council Councillor Gerry Murray and County Manager Hubert Kearns have praised the staff for working around the clock over recent weeks to maintain essential services for the people of Sligo. During a visit to the Council’s depot at Ballydrehid, the Cathaoirleach said he was extremely proud of the magnificent efforts of the Roads and Water Services staff, who spared no effort in their work in treating the roads and maintaining the public water supply network. Mr Kearns added that all the front-line staff provided an invaluable service over the Christmas and New Year period, and he thanked them for their dedication and commitment.
