Important Roads Notice

Due to a combination of rain and freezing conditions, all roads in the county are liable to be treacherous. Motorists are asked to undertake journeys only if absolutely necessary, and if they are obliged to travel to take extreme care and keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.

Sligo County Council’s Roads Crew have treated National Primary Routes and some of the Regional Routes in the county last night and early this (Tuesday) morning, and the national roads will be treated again this evening.
