Dr Ian Paisley Visits Sligo

Dr Ian Paisley visited Sligo for a series of engagements this week. He was invited by the Banada Development Association to unveil a monument at the Banada Peace Park, and he attended a reception in Teach Laighne, Tubbercurry, hosted by Cathaoirleach Councillor Gerry Murray.

- Dr Paisley officially opens Banada Peace Park watched by former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds, John Perry TD., and Councillor Margaret Gormley

Dr Paisley also visited the Presbyterian Manse in Sligo on the invitation of the Reverend Alan Mitchell, and he concluded his Sligo itinerary with a visit to City Hall for a reception hosted by Mayor Councillor Jim McGarry.

- Cathaoirleach Councillor Gerry Murray makes a speacial presentation to Albert reynolds at the reception for Dr. Paisley  in Teach Laighne where he was a special guest.
