28th  July

  • Strategic Policy Committee 4 (Housing Policy/Social and Cultural Development) Meeting, Training Room, County Hall, Riverside, Sligo at 2.15 pm

30th July 

  • Tubbercurry Electoral Area Meeting scheduled to take place in Teach Laighne, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo at 11.00 am has been postponed until September, further details to follow.

3rd July 

  • Civil Defence providing first aid cover for Family day and music event at Mountshannon House

  • Civil Defence providing first aid cover at Ballymote show

  • Civil Defence providing first aid cover at Sligo Rovers home game

9th – 11th July 

  • Civil Defence providing first aid cover and welfare assistance at Oxygen concerts at Punchestown racecourse Kildare

11th July 

  • Civil Defence providing Safety boat cover on Lough Bo for Sligo Stages Rally

17th July 

  • Civil Defence providing first aid cover at Riverstown show

24th July

  • Civil Defence providing first aid cover at Coolaney road race as part of their festival

24th - 25th July

  • Civil Defence assisting Mayo Civil Defence with welfare for Croagh Patrick weekend

12th July 

  • Draft CDP including Easky, Dromore West Mini-Plans in Dromore West Hall.

13th July 

  • Draft CDP including Aclare, Banada, Tourlestaun, Curry, Cloonacool Mini Plans in Teach Laighne, Tubbercurry.

14th July 

  • Draft CDP including Ballinafas, Ballintogher, Ballygawley, Castlebaldwin, Geevagh and Riverstown Mini-Plans in Riverstown Hall.

15th July 

  • Draft CDP including Ballincar, Carney, Drumcliff, Rathcormack and Rosses Point Mini-Plans in Rathcormack Hall.

19th July 

  • Draft CDP including Bunnanaddan, Culfadda, Gorteen and Monasteraden Mini-Plans in   Bunnanaddan Community Centre.

20th July

Community Enterprise Arts & Environment

6th July

  • County Sligo Tourism Strategy Public Consultation in The Clarion Hotel Sligo. Two Sessions available: 2.00 pm or 7.00 pm.

11th July 

  • National Play Day, Doorly Park, from 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm. Activities for children up to 12 years. No Admission Fee.

Judging for the Co-operation Ireland All-Island Pride of Place Competition will take place in County Sligo as follows:

27th July 

  • Ballinafad Development Association in Field Study Centre, Ballinafad from 2.15 pm – 4.45 pm.
  • Ballintrillick Environmental Group in Benwiskin Centre, Ballintrillick from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.

  • Enniscrone Beach - Lifeguards and Beachwarden cover – 7 days from 11.30 am – 7.00 pm
  • Rosses Point Beach - Lifeguards cover – 7 days from 11.30 am – 7.00 pm
  • Streedagh Beach - Lifeguards cover – 7 days from 11.30 am – 7.00 pm 
  • Dunmoran Beach – Saturday and Sundays only from 11.30 am – 7.00 pm
  • Strandhill Beach – Beachwarden cover – 7 days from 11.30 am – 7.00 pm

14th July
